If you think you hate the circus, I urge you to check out Spiegelworld. It’s usually stationed in NYC, but is currently wintering in Miami Beach. Oh and don’t bring the kids-although I imagine it’s a 21 and over show.
It’s hilarious, dirty, scary (I don’t think I’d sit in the front row next time), embarrassing and exciting for the entire two hour show. Here’s a good review from the NY Times, but perhaps the best explanation I’ve seen comes from Cindy Adams of the NY Post -”an off-beat European circus on acid - Do not miss it.”
Coming in January there’s a late night lounge show starring the comedy/music relief from the regular show. I’ll definitely be attending.
Surprisingly this is the first solar powered pool robotic skimmer on the market. You’d think sun and pools would be an easy connection. Too bad it doesn’t have the vacuum attachment.
This device compacts standard newspapers into briquettes. Interesting concept, but I’m skeptical on whether these would completely burn if compacted so tightly. Also, actually recycling the paper is likely a more environmentally sound choice.
Movies on the beach and in the grass by the bay are becoming popular here in Miami. Class your experience up a bit with this handy setup. $54.

I’ve been using the Maps function quite a bit lately and have been yearning for GPS capabilities. $90 ain’t too bad, but I’d love for something that didn’t stick out like this.
