RIP Larry “Bud” Melman
Apparently Calvert DeForest, aka Larry “Bud” Melman, passed Monday at age 85.
While working as a file clerk at a drug rehabilitation facility, he was “discovered” by people associated with David Letterman’s show when he appeared in a New York University student’s film.

I loved him in Letterman’s heyday at NBC. I thought he was 85 at the time…
