Wii launches forecast channel
On startup the Wii is organized into a set of ‘channels’ to choose from, just activated was the forecast channel. It includes the standard 5-day forecast, UV index, highs and lows. The real treat is a globe that you can grab and spin, which works much like Google Maps.
Madden football will use the channel for real time weather conditions for games. I imagine other tie-ins are too come.
