Tracing our food’s history via cellphone may be in the near future. Japan is currently at the forefront of this trend. I’m not sure a majority of U.S. consumers would pay extra for it, but I’d be delighted to see some info about the farmer who grew my greens. Maybe the factory farms could display a photo of the person in charge of the bolt gun.
