Gimme Shelter
About 5 days ago a man and woman literally started living in the street across the road from my building. I live in a decent area, but there are a few low-rent apts hanging on. Apparently these two were evicted and set up right on the sidewalk either out of protest or having nowhere else to go.
Cops pass by them daily, but don’t seem to care. The occasional passerby (as shown above) stops and talks with the lady (hidden behind the boxes) but usually leave looking more confused.
update: a Miami Beach ‘neighborhood services’ van came and helped them move the belongings-to where, I may never know.
